Meet Our Team

Chairman: R. Dale Boyer
Dale Boyer has spent more than fifty years in Christian Ministry serving as Youth Pastor, Music Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Executive Pastor. Dale is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Most recently, he spent seventeen years as Executive Director of CityLinC Ministries, a beneficent faith-based non-profit organization, who’s largest department was a Foster Care & Adoption Agency for the State of Michigan. As Executive Director, he managed an annual budget of 1.5 million dollars.
Dale also served as an instructor at Central Bible College in Southfield and Battle Creek, Michigan. He also taught music theory at the Advanced Training Institute of America in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dale is the licensed owner of The Boyer Boyz, a handyman service which concentrates on hiring individuals who are in the process of restoring their lives and reputations. Dale’s degrees are in Biblical Studies and Religious Music.
Dale and his wife, Susan, live in Michigan, where they raised seven children.

Secretary: Mark Saylor
Mark Saylor serves as the Director of Music Ministries for Red Bridge Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He came to know Christ as his savior at 7 years old and began leading worship at the age of 16. Alongside his wife, Diana—who serves as the church pianist—Mark has been on staff at RBBC since 1992, leading corporate worship services and coordinating all music groups and activities.
Both Mark and Diana hold degrees in Music Education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Mark also holds a master’s degree in trombone performance from Wichita State University. Throughout his professional playing career, Mark has performed with the trombone sections of the Springfield (MO) Symphony Orchestra, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and the Wichita Music Theater, alongside numerous freelance engagements.
His teaching background includes serving as an associate instructor at Wichita State University, running a private studio, and teaching band and choir at Greeley County High School in Tribune, Kansas. He also taught K-5 music for Kansas City Public Schools and developed and administered the Red Bridge School of Fine Arts.
Mark and Diana have four adult children, all of whom are accomplished musicians, and ten grandchildren whom they love encouraging in their musical and spiritual growth.

Executive Director: Benjamin Boyer
Benjamin's musical life started in the womb with the sounds of the cello from his mother's practice sessions. From the beginning, it was apparent that music would be a strong gifting for him. At a young age, Benjamin learned to play the violin, piano, and to write music. He further developed these skills at Evangel University in Springfield, MO, earning a B.A. in Music and picking up a B.S. in Pre-Medical Kinesiology. Benjamin extensively studied music composition and Organ at Evangel and went on from there to hold a number of Principle Organist positions in the Springfield and Kansas City area.
Over the last decade, Benjamin has built a skill in Business Development, successfully founding several businesses and selling one. He currently manages real estate portfolios for private investors and operates Christ Through Art Ministries as its Executive Director.
Benjamin's zeal for music is evident by his passion for expressing the rich depth of life in his compositions. He desires to exalt Christ Jesus through his gift of music so that people's hearts may be turned back to our gracious Father in heaven.
Benjamin currently resides in Kansas City, MO, with his wife and 5 children.
